Speaker registration deadline
So that the conference committee can promote, prepare, and schedule the programme effectively, we need to know if you will submit a paper. Accordingly, you should complete speaker registration by midnight Friday 19 June 2020. If you have any problems with this deadline, please email the conference committee in good time: [email protected].
To attend all BSP events, speakers and delegates need to be members of the British Society for Phenomenology. The fee for one year is £40 waged and £20 unwaged / student / emeritus. When you become a member, you receive paper copies of the Journal of the British Society for Phenomenology (four issues a year), plus access to over 50 years of the JBSP online (for one year). You can check out more about joining the BSP here.
Given the conference will now be online, this year we will not be charging anything other than our requirement that speakers and delegates are or become members of the BSP. So, if you are currently a member, the conference is essentially free; however if your membership ends between you registering and the event in September, you will need to renew your membership at the appropriate time in order to participate. If you do not know when your membership lapses, please contact our membership secretary.
Speaker registration site
To register to participate in the conference please visit the BSP 2020 Annual Conference speaker registration site.
Please register using the same email address which you used to submit your abstract by midnight Friday 19 June 2020.
We are committed to making the online conference as accessible as possible. If you have accessibility considerations or concerns about the video presentations, please get in touch ([email protected]) and we will do our best to either accommodate or advise. For speakers or delegates with support workers (such as transcribers, signers, or assistants of any kind) we also offer free registration – again, just get in touch.
