BSP Membership

The BSP welcomes new members from all fields of endeavour within and related to phenomenology. Our membership includes philosophers, psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, artists, and teachers, among others.

About membership
> BSP membership rates per year are £40 for a standard membership; and £20 for a concession membership (such as emeritus, independent, student, unwaged, and financial hardship [including low income, temporary contracts, etc.]).
> Membership includes a year’s subscription to the Journal of the British Society for Phenomenology. This subscription gives access to over fifty years of articles going back to 1970, as well as 25-30 new articles published during the year as they go live. JBSP Online is accessed through our Taylor and Francis website. Furthermore, if members would like to collect print versions of the journal, these are available at a significant discount through our JBSP print edition membership discount scheme.
> Most events convened by the BSP require membership to attend. Becoming a member means you can participate at a discounted fee.
> The British Society for Phenomenology is a not-for-profit organisation set up with the intention of promoting research and awareness in the field of Phenomenology and other cognate arms of philosophical thought. Becoming a member helps the society fulfill these aims by supporting its journal, essay prize, impact agenda, events, and podcast.
> We use our own secure site and PayPal to process membership applications. If you are unable to use PayPal for any reason, or have any other questions, please contact the membership secretary: [email protected]
