‘Early Women Philosophers in London’ Conference 2022

The Annual Society for Women in Philosophy UK conference will take place at Royal Holloway University London 28-29th June 2022.

Details

The conference will celebrate the work of the pioneering women philosophers based at Bedford College (University of London) in the early development of analytic philosophy, including Susan Stebbing, Margaret MacDonald, Ruby Meager, and Ruth Lydia Saw. This is a fantastic opportunity to find out more about these important and often over-looked figures and it will be a great chance to share ideas about, for example, ways of including them in our curricula and research.

The conference will also host the SWIP-UK Annual General Meeting, which is a great opportunity for members to meet each other and get involved with the work of SWIP-UK.

Standard tickets are £10, with a £5 reduced rate for members and friends of SWIP-UK. Analysis bursaries are available for those in need of further financial support to attend – details on the event website: https://royalholloway.ac.uk/research-and-teaching/departments-and-schools/philosophy/research/early-women-philosophers-in-london-conference/
