Call for Papers
2022 Conference Theme: Heidegger in Conversation

The 56th annual meeting of the Heidegger Circle will be held May 26 – 29, 2022 at the University of Memphis, Memphis, TN, USA. Barring unexpected changes in COVID, the conference will be held in person.
The organisers invite papers, panel proposals, and oral presentations on all aspects of Heidegger’s work, especially those that relate to this year’s theme, “Heidegger in Conversation.”

SUBMISSIONS
> Traditional Papers: Please send submissions of no more than 4000 words (excluding notes) with a 250- to 500-word abstract, all prepared for blind review.
> Panel Proposals: Panels of three or four presenters, each making a brief presentation (up to ten minutes) on the panel topic, with a significant amount of the remaining time used for discussion with each other and with conference attendees. No more than 1,500 words per panelist (maximum 4 panelists). Panel proposals should be submitted by the panel organizer and should include (1) a brief abstract (250 words) and (2) for each individual panelist, a title and extended abstract (250 – 500 word). General formatting guidelines apply.
> Oral Presentations: Fifteen-minute talk. Please submit a draft of remarks, outline, or paper of no more than 2,250 words, along with a 250- to 500-word abstract, all prepared for blind review.

Deadline for submissions: February 1st, 2022.
