The Integrative BioPhilosophy Research Group at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Kassel will be hosting an evening lecture By Prof. Dr. Renaud Barbaras on the core themes of his book “Body and belonging. Towards a phenomenological cosmology” published in 2019.
The talk will be held on 22/06/2022 from 18:00 – 20:00 (CEST) at the University of Kassel. The address is Moritzstraße 18, Campus Center Raum 1112 Seminarraum 3.
The event is open to the public and free of charge.
The Author:
“Renaud Barbaras is Chair of Contemporary in the University of Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne. In his work, Barbaras offers an original development of the phenomenological tradition initiated by figures such as Merleau-Ponty, Heidegger and Bergson. As a specialist in phenomenology, he is the author of many internationally recognized award-winning works. Among his most known books it is possible to mention “An introduction to a phenomenology of life” and the more recent “Body and belonging: Towards a phenomenological cosmology”.
